Dia Announces Reopening Dates for Dia Beacon and Dia Bridgehampton

Dear friends,

I am pleased to share with our community that, following many months of closure due to COVID-19, Dia Bridgehampton and Dia Beacon are both scheduled to reopen to the public, on July 25 and August 7, respectively.

It is truly exciting to be able to welcome visitors back to our galleries and to share our artists and artworks with you again. I know that the communality of visiting museums, and the joy that we all feel in these spaces, has been so missed during this difficult period of time.

To ensure the health and safety of visitors and staff, there are a number of new protocols and procedures in place at both locations. At Dia Beacon, we have established a timed, contactless entry system, which requires visitors to book their tickets online in advance.

Capacity inside both Dia Beacon and Dia Bridgehampton is limited so that there is ample space for social distancing. We will offer new interactive floorplans and artist information and face coverings will be required for all. Both locations have a rigorous cleaning and sanitization schedule in place.

I encourage you to plan your visit to Dia in advance and read more about all of our safety precautions here.

We look forward to welcoming you back to Dia Beacon and Dia Bridgehampton soon.

Take care,

Jessica Morgan
Director, Dia Art Foundation
